Elizabeth Murphy (2008), won both the Horace Medal and the McKay medal at Georgetown. She is now a graduate student in Classics at Columbia University.

Christopher Caterine (2007) is a graduate student in Classics at the University of Virginia

Andrew Gentile (2007), a double major in Economics and Classics at Georgetown, wrote an honors thesis on mining and the money supply in the Roman empire. He is now an investment banker.

Mallory Monaco (2007), is a graduate student in Classics at Princeton University.

Rebecca Miller (2007), won the Pearson Fellowship of the American Philological Association for graduate study of Classics at Oxford in 2007-2008. She is now a graduate student in Classics at Harvard.

Jonathan McLaughlin (2007), studied late antique and Byzantine history at Oxford in 2007-2008 with a Rotary Scholarship. He is now a graduate student in Classics at the University of Michigan.

John Sutherland (2006), enrolled in Georgetown's Post-Baccalaureate program in Classics after graduation. He is now a graduate student in Classics at Stanford University.

Liz Fort (2006) received her degree in Classical Studies from Georgetown University in 2006. Upon graduating, she became a member of the MATCH Corps Program in Boston—a 1-2 year urban education fellowship. Currently, Liz is the Development Director for the MATCH Charter Public School.

Cailleach Dé Weingart-Ryan (2005) is an investment banking analyst at Merrill Lynch.

Dan Mintz (2004), was a double major in Mathematics and Classics at Georgetown. He  is now a graduate student in the Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.

Kathryn Balsley (2003), was a double major in Classics and English at Georgetown. She is now a graduate student in the Department of Classics at Stanford University.

Heidi Broome-Raines (2002), who majored in Classical Languages with a minor in Modern Greek, is a graduate student in Classics at Brown University. In 2006-2007, she was a student member of the American School of Classical Studies at Athens; she is pictured excavating at ancient Corinth on the ASCSA website (www.ascsa.edu.gr).

Dan Zwonitzer (2002), was elected to the Wyoming state legislature soon after graduation, and he is running for the U.S. Congress in 2008. For a story about Dan, see page 49 of the Spring/Summer 2008 Georgetown Magazine.

Doug Boin (1999), is a graduate student in Classics at the University of Texas Austin. He is completing a dissertation entitled “Temples and Traditions of Late Antique Ostia”.

Joseph Flahive (1999), received his Ph.D. from the Department of Celtic at the University of Edinburgh in 2004. He is currently a visiting Government of Ireland Scholar in Early and Medieval Irish at University College Cork, preparing an edition of Michael O’Cleary’s Leabhar Gabhala.

Adrian Ossi (1999), is a graduate student in IPCAA (the Interdepartmental Program in Classical Art and Archaeology) at the University of Michigan. He is writing a dissertation entitled “The Roman Art in Asia Minor: A Form with Meaning?”.

Hagan Scotten (1998), served as an officer in the U.S. Army in South Korea, Afghanistan, and Iraq after graduation. He is now in his second year at Harvard Law School.

Lori Khatchadourian (1997), has recently completed her University of Michigan dissertation entitled “Social Logistics under Empire: The Armenian ‘Highland Satrapy’ and Achaemenid Rule, ca. 600-300 B.C.”. She is Assistant Director of Project ArAGATS (Archaeology and Geography of Ancient Transcaucasian Societies).

Andreya Mihaloew (1996), is a graduate student in Classical Archaeology at Harvard, writing a dissertation on ancient Greek lamps. She will spend the 2008-2009 school year working on her dissertation at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens.
